Banana & Cinnamon Porridge

A healthy breakfast is so important. This is a proper winter warming kick start to your day. 


Ingredients
½ cup of porridge oats
½ cup of milk
½ cup of water
pinch of salt
½ teaspoon of cinnamon
1 banana (sliced) 
2 tsp honey
small handful of walnut pieces




Place the porridge oats, milk, water and salt in a saucepan. Stick on a medium heat until the porridge comes to the boil. Reduce the heat and keep stirring for 5 minutes. Add the cinnamon and banana and cook for 1 minute. Serve in a bowl, topped with the honey and walnuts.
